Your stay with us will be uniquely tailored to your specific preferences. But for a general idea of what it's like to visit the ranch, here's a look at a "typical week" at the UXU: SUNDAY
Guests are welcomed to the ranch and from noon to 3pm. Later, guests are treated to a wine and cheese reception on the banks of the Shoshone River. You'll have a chance to meet your fellow guests, learn some local history, and get your bearings around the ranch before dinner.
MONDAY
Get to know our horses and take a ride around the property. Monday's two horseback rides allow guests to become comfortable with both your horse and the beautiful mountain scenery around the Ranch. Later in the afternoon, try your hand at softball at 6000 feet above sea level.
TUESDAY
Tour nearby Yellowstone, the nation's first and best National Park. See grizzlies, elk, moose, wolves and natural scenery unlike anywhere else in the world. Enjoy cowboy songs around the campfire while dining on Ribs, Chicken and Catfish in a truly Southern manner!
WEDNESDAY
Saddle up for an all-day horseback ride featuring a gourmet barbecue lunch. Spend the late afternoon at our shooting range working on some target practice or soak in the hot tub with a cool drink.
THURSDAY
Pick your favorite activity: horseback riding, fly fishing, hiking, or just relax. Then regroup for a visit to Old Trail Town and the Cody Nite Rodeo.
FRIDAY
Another chance to do exactly what you want on this open day in the schedule. Afternoon softball is always an option, or visit the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody. Most guests choose to spend the day rafting on the Shoshone River.
SATURDAY
Pack your bags, take your last pictures and say goodbye to new friends and old. Don't forget to reserve your spot for next year!
You can choose to do as much or as little as you like. Some guests prefer to ride horses every day, others can't get enough fishing, while many choose to just kick back, relax and enjoy the slower pace of life in the shadow of Yellowstone. Regardless of what you're looking for, rest assured you'll find it at the UXU Ranch.
