1898, (ca. 1898) The Honey Moon Cabin

The 1898 (date ca. 1898) is one-story log and wood guest cabin with a low concrete and stone foundation. Two pre-1900 log buildings were put together in an L-shape at the site by at least 1898. 1898 was back in the day the original sawmill office which started the ranch in 1929. Today it’s also called “The Honey Moon Cabin”. The chimney on the east end is made of mixed local stones and mortar. Overall dimensions are 25'3" e-w and 28'9"n-s.  The 1898 has a queen in the front room and a twin bed in the bedroom. The cabin has a fireplace and will accommodate1 to 3 people comfortably. Overlooking the Shoshone River, this cabin has its own access road.

Not included in the "All-Inclusive Dude Ranch Experience" are Friday and Saturday Night. Weekend Cabin Rates, open to the public, start at $150 to $250 per night depending on the season, plus 15% tax and fees.
